A solid concert in the 'Free for all'

The Djangos Gringos had the audience captivated as they gave a solid performance in front of people from Herne and wide surroundings in the Free for all here on the 20 of August. More than a hundred people packed the floor and started cheering when the band came up for play. Already suitably warmed up by the able DJ of the house, people started dancing to the tunes straight away. After two sets, the band had to come back for no less than three encores, proving how succesful an eveing it had been.
Those who stayed home were proven in the wrong.
"Heavensreaper: Loki and Thor" - Shows much potential.

While opening with blaring drums, it fails to keep the heaviness and coordination coming for the following tracks. Mjolnir The Hammer, brings back the crash of the opening track and really shows some of this band's lyrical talent, but the album falls short yet again on the next track. Once Dead Hyrda comes in though, the album blasts right past you. Showing all of the band's built up potential released in a series of destructive tracks.
All in all, this album is a solid piece of Metal music. But in their attempt at a great Sophomore album, Heavensreaper heaps a little to much Heavy and not enough Melody.
5 Stars.
